Imported Spot is our newest addition to the stud dog lineup. Spot is small and compact but has a great deal of savvy on the sheep. He is very natural and has an excellent pace. Spot is imported from Ireland where he had been very successful in open trials with Arthur Mawhinney. Spot is a tri colored rough coated border collie. He is extremely friendly with people,children, and other dogs. His major desire is to please you as he works. He has already placed in open with Cheryl and we are excited about his prospects this year as he adjusts to the U.S. and our different sheep. UPDATE: Spot is becoming more than we could have hoped for. He has placed in many open trials in his first year of trialing for Cheryl. He qualified for and ran in the Canadian National finals resulting in a 6th place overall in the double lift finals. He qualifed for and ran in the USBCHA National Finals. He placed 21st over 145 dogs and qualifed for the semifinals. A spectacular year for his first year!! He is presently ranked in the top 10 in the United States Border Collie Handlers Association rankings.
