Mirk was Dick’s nursery dog in 2005. He comes from Andy and Terri Florentino’s Deja Blue. Deja is not a trial dog but could have been if she had the opportunity.

Mirk is a merle and a beauty. He is strong boned and powerful physically and mentally. He has a nice way with the sheep and an intense desire to work.

UPDATE###Mirk has proven to be all we had hoped winning the overall pronovice champion at the Bluegrass Trials, qualifying for the USBCHA National Nursery, placing many times in nursery and ranch. By the end of his first year of trialing, he placed in open in  the top twenty at Kingston, Ontario. He placed in the top ten at other open trials as well.

His first open year has been spectacular. He began the year winning the Okeechobee, Florida trial with a runoff! He went on to place at many trials during the year qualifying him for the national finals. He ran  at Meeker Colorado and in the National Finals in Klamath Falls, Oregon. We are looking for Mirk to settle into a fine open dog as he matures.
