Imported from Scotland by Tom Conn for Florence Wilson. Her trainer from Scotland was very fond of Jen. He found her to be very keen and always willing to work. In fact, stopping her from working proves to be the only issue. Her outruns are impeccable and she has the ability to move any kind of sheep without question.
She was the dog the Shepherdess Annie Palmer used at the USBCHA National Finals in Virginia in 2010. to move the entire flock of 650+ sheep to their various places throughout the week. A black and white medium coat, Jen is very small and has an excellent disposition.

"Looking at your bitches I see that your Jen is out of Eryri Meg - a litter sister to my bitch Eryri Taran, My family has the prefix Eryri. You might be interested to know that I was competing with Eryri Taran in ‘One Man and His Dog’ which was televised in the UK last night. (I didn’t do very well) I trial in North Wales with my bitch and she is a character and although she is very small in stature she has a heart of a lion. I represented Wales at the international sheepdog trials with her last year in the young handlers competition (didn’t do very well) but enjoyed it. My father trials as well and we compete against each other. If you go to the ‘Mainbordercollies.com’ site and click on 2010 result you will see that another litter brother to Eryri Meg – which is Eryri Jim is the top pointed dog in North Wales in 2010(an area with top international handlers and world champions, such as Aled Owen) In 2009 my father was second with the mother of Eryri Meg – Bet. The mother of Alistair Macray’s dog Nap was also bred by us – but no relation to Eryri Meg I believe."
